THE Almond Grove

     BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR SELF CATERING HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

THE  SUBMISSION  OF  THE  BOOKING  FORM  CONSTITUTES  ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS BY THE CLIENT.

These booking conditions form the sole contract between the owners and the person signing the booking form (who must be 18 years of age or over). The person signing the Booking form shall be deemed to be signing on behalf of all members of the party who agree to be bound by the Booking Conditions. No contract shall exist until the owners have received a signed Booking Form, together with the correct payment, and we have confirmed your booking in writing (to include electronic media).

 
A non- refundable deposit of €200.00 per week or part week, per accommodation booked, is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. If the booking is made 8 weeks or less from the date of arrival, the full amount is required at the time of booking.  
 

The deposit will be treated as part payment of the total amount due. If the balance is not paid 8 weeks prior to the arrival date the owners shall have the right to cancel the booking without further notice.  Any cancellation of a booking must be in writing and is subject to the following cancellation charges:- More than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, full deposit. 8 weeks or less prior to your arrival date 100% of the total rental cost.
 

Force Majeure:  The owners of the property or their servants or agents will not be liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following:  Strikes, Riots, Political Unrest, Hostilities, War, or threat of War, Terrorist Activity, Closure of Airports or any other event beyond the owner’s control.   The owner, the management company or their agent will not be liable for any loss or delay caused by conditions over which they have no control.


 
Arrival should not be before 15:00hr and the Almond Grove should be vacated by 10:00hrs on the day of departure. Please inform the owners or their agents of your expected arrival time. Please contact the owners should your arrival be earlier than 15.00hrs. 



Should any problem occur with the accommodation during your stay, you must notify our local management company immediately. Unless there is a valid reason, we will not consider the owner, their agents or representatives liable for any complaint that was not initially registered with the Management Company during your stay. The 24 Hour help telephone number will be provided to you on arrival at the accommodation.

 
The client is responsible for and pays all travel arrangements, airline tickets, car rental, medical and travel insurance and any other cost incurred in connection with the holiday. Payment via the Booking Form is for the rental of the accommodation only.
 

The management company checks the property on your departure if any damage, breakages extra cleaning i.e. baked on grease in or on cooker, which would result in extra cleaning, you would be charged accordingly.  Please note it is your responsibility to empty your bins, the large bin is located outside the entrance on the main road.

 
Guests are required to have appropriate travel/holiday insurance in force for the period of the trip, and valid passports for the duration of their stay where appropriate.
 

A security deposit of €150 per accommodation booked must be paid with your final balance.  The party must treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils and other facilities with respect.  Any loss or damage must be reported immediately. The holiday let will be cleaned prior to your arrival and after you have departed.  The holiday let must be left in an orderly state.  The owners reserve the right to withhold any monies from the security deposit to pay for any loss or damage caused to the property or its contents by any member of the party.  The security deposit will be fully refunded within 2 weeks of vacating the accommodation and after the owners have received a satisfactory status report/inspection from our management company.
 

Only those persons identified on the booking form are authorized to use the property.  Any changes to the persons booked to occupy the accommodation must be notified for insurance purposes.  The maximum number of guests in the accommodation must be in accordance with the occupancy of the specific accommodation booked with the condition that all persons sleep in the beds provided (to include sofa bed and travel cots where applicable).


For the comfort of our future guests there is no smoking allowed inside the accommodation.  Smoking is allowed only outside of the property and all smoking materials should be handled and disposed of carefully. There is a bin provided on the external footpath, by the door, for tab ends etc.


If occupants are found smoking within the premises, causing a nuisance to other residents within and beyond the boundaries of the Almond Grove, or found to be misusing/abusing any of the facilities and equipment supplied with The Almond Grove, they may be asked to vacate the premises immediately and forfeit all monies paid.

 
The swimming pool is an unsupervised area. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety of their children within the Almond Grove and must not leave them unsupervised. The owners or agents cannot be held responsible for the safety of children. No glasses or breakable items to be taken into the pool area. Sun loungers are provided for the use of sitting or laying on, please do not use these loungers or chairs for other purposes. Their should be no running or diving into the pool. Please ensure you shower before entering the pool to remove sun cream. It is our aim to have the swimming pool available at all times, however; it will be closed for periods of maintenance and during any electrical or dust storm for the safety of guest's. During these events guest's are requested not to use the pool or pool area. If you do the management or owners can not be held responsible for any injury that may be received.


Well behaved dogs are welcome in some of the holiday lets. A maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation is permitted. Pets should be well behaved, not left unattended and kept on a lead at all times when outside the garden of the accommodation booked. The person booking the accommodation will be responsible for any dogs brought onto The Almond Grove. Any fouling must be cleaned and removed into bins immediately. Dogs must be kept under control, should not be a nuisance to other guests, which includes barking and howling, and are not allowed within the swimming pool area. All dogs must be insured and have current vaccination certificates. Proof of this documentation should be available and shown on request.  Any party found to not be in control of their dogs, or not complying with the terms and conditions may be asked to vacate the premises immediately and forfeit all monies paid. The decision of the managing agent or the owner is final and binding.

 
Warning for nut and other allergy sufferers. The Almond Grove does contain almond trees that produce almond nuts and may have other fruit/nut trees that can affect you. If you are in any doubt, consult a medical practitioner/doctor prior to booking. The owner or their agents cannot accept any liability for medical conditions brought about by allergies.


You are booking accommodation within rural Spain. It is possible during your stay, within and out of the confines of The Almond Grove that you come across wildlife. Please leave animals alone. Do not, or allow children or dogs to try and catch or chase wildlife.

This contract is subject to and shall be in accordance with the laws of Spain and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish Courts.
